On September 1, in the walls of the City Palace of Culture (CPC), in a solemn and inspiring atmosphere, the celebration of the Day of Knowledge took place at Luhansk National University Named After Taras Shevchenko. This day marked the beginning of a new academic year for students, lecturers, and the entire university staff, filled with hopes and aspirations for new knowledge and achievements.
The Director of the Educational and Research Institutes, Hennadii Anatoliiovych Mohylnyi, addressed the first-year and senior students with words of sincere congratulations and support. In his speech, Hennadii Anatoliiovych emphasized the importance of education under modern conditions, its role in shaping the future of our country, and the personal development of every student.
The Head of the Trade Union Organization of Lecturers and Students, Volodymyr Petrovych Moroz, joined the congratulations in an online format. His warm words of support and wishes for academic success became another confirmation of the unity and solidarity of the university community.
The festive atmosphere was masterfully complemented by musical greetings from the CPC soloists – Mykola Pashchevskyi and Zhanna Kharchenko. Their songs filled the hall with positive energy, highlighting the solemnity of the moment and creating unforgettable impressions for everyone present.
Also, on September 2, an online meeting with higher education students of the first (bachelor's) level of education was held at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies. The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute, Hennadii Anatoliiovych Mohylnyi, who congratulated all participants on being enrolled as students of the institute. The heads of departments, Mykola Anatoliiovych Semenov and Yurii Hordiiovych Kozub, also addressed the first-year students with welcoming words, focusing specifically on the advantages of studying at the institute.
Volodymyr Yuriiovych Donchenko, the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, continued the welcoming speech and spoke about the specifics of the educational process.
Iryna Mykhailivna Shvets, the Deputy Director for Social and Humanitarian Work, focused attention on the events and forms of interaction that can help in the development of each student.
