On September 3, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies opened its doors for students of the 2024-2025 academic year. The meeting was opened by the Director of the Institute, Hennadii Anatoliiovych Mohylnyi, who congratulated all participants on their enrollment as students of our institute. Welcoming words to the first-year students were also addressed by the Heads of Departments, Mykola Anatoliiovych Semenov and Yurii Hordiiovych Kozub, who emphasized the specific advantages of studying at the institute.

On September 17, 2024, Oksana Volodymyrivna Shevchyk, a leading librarian of the State Institution "LNU named after Taras Shevchenko", conducted a lecture on "Academic Integrity in the Educational Process" for higher education students of ERI MIT.

Academic integrity is not just a set of rules, but a fundamental principle on which not only the educational process but also the development of the scientific community and society as a whole is based.

Traditionally, on September 21, Ukraine and the entire world celebrate the International Day of Peace.

The greatest happiness in the world is peace, when people live in harmony and tranquility, the earth does not shake from terrible explosions, and tears of grief and loss are not shed. This day is dedicated to the ideals of peace both within states and in relations between all states and peoples, and it is meant to make everyone not only think but also do something for the sake of tranquility on Earth.

On September 27, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies traditionally held its Health Day, which was attended by academic staff and higher education students. 

The organizer of the event, Iryna SHVETS, Deputy Director of ERI MIT for Social and Humanitarian Work, prepared a rich sports and entertainment program.

On October 9, an informational meeting was held in the structural units of Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk located in the city of Myrhorod, bringing together higher education students of the first (Bachelor's) and second (Master's) levels of study with Volodymyr MOROZ, Head of the Primary Trade Union Organization, and Hanna SERIK, Head of the Student Social Service Sector.

An open lecture for higher education students and lecturers on the topic "Modern Requirements for Engineers in IoT Device Development and Other Embedded Systems" was held at ERI MIT, at the Department of Information Technologies and Systems of Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk.  The meeting was organized by the stakeholder company EKTOS UKRAINE. The lecturers were: Serhii Makovetskyi, a tech lead with 10 years of experience in commercial development, and Olga Sokolovska, a recruiter.

On October 15, an informational meeting was held in the structural units of Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk located in the city of Myrhorod, bringing together higher education students of the first (Bachelor's) and second (Master's) levels of study with Anton NAZMIIEV, Head of the Center for Psychological Recovery and Adaptation of the State Institution "Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk". 

On October 1, 2024, an online meeting with students of the second (Master's) level of higher education was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.

On November 14, a meeting with UNDP representatives was held at the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, where ways for further cooperation were discussed.

Hennadii MOHYLNYI, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, and Mykola SEMENOV, Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Systems, took part in the meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council of the regional digitalization program and project of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.
