Interdepartmental seminar on the topic: "Features of using information resources during distance learning"

With the aim of exchanging experience and developing new teaching methods, an interdepartmental seminar was held on the topic: "Peculiarities of Using Information Resources During Distance Learning" by the department of ERI MIT and the Department of Computer Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity of NULES.

The main goal of the event was to study and discuss the effective use of information technologies in the process of organizing distance learning. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest approaches, tools, and teaching methodologies that can be implemented in their practice.

Special attention at the seminar was paid to the speech of the Director of ERI MIT, Hennadii MOHYLNYI, who provided a general description and features of the educational process organization at LNU under the conditions of blended learning, and demonstrated the configuration features of modern server platforms used at the university. He drew attention to the issues of conducting laboratory work under distance learning conditions and shared experience in solving them. He also described the general structure and features of using the private cloud created at the State Higher Educational Institution "Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk".

VMware vSphere is a platform that provides capabilities for server virtualization, making it extremely useful in modern educational institutions where remote access to educational resources must be ensured. Hennadii Mohylnyi presented:

- Main functions of VMware vSphere.

- How to configure and implement the system for distance learning.

- Examples of successful use of the platform in the educational process.

- Challenges that may be encountered and ways to solve them.

The report was intended not only to familiarize the audience with the technical aspect of using the platform but also to demonstrate its capabilities in the context of creating high-quality and accessible distance learning.

Also, a Q&A session was organized during the seminar, allowing participants to receive additional information and clarifications on topics of interest to them. In addition, the seminar participants exchanged experiences about digital tools already implemented in their practice.

We hope that the interdepartmental seminar "Peculiarities of Using Information Resources During Distance Learning" will become a platform for exchanging experience and developing new ideas that will contribute to the improvement of the educational process under distance learning conditions.
