On February 8, 2025, ERI MIT took part in the III (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian School Olympiad in Information Technologies, featuring school students from the Luhansk region.
At the beginning of the competition, H.A. Mohylnyi, Director of ERI MIT, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Chairman of the Jury, addressed the participating students with motivational words, emphasizing personal responsibility, academic integrity, and compliance with the rules of conducting and participating in intellectual contests.
The jury members also welcomed the participants: Volodymyr Yuriyovych Donchenko — Deputy Director of ERI MIT for Educational Work, Senior Lecturer, and Mykola Anatoliyovych Semenov — PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Inna Oleksiyivna Shakhno, a methodologist of the Department of Natural Sciences and Methods of Their Teaching at the Luhansk Regional Institute of Post-Graduate Pedagogical Education, familiarized the participants with the specifics of the Olympiad.
The Olympiad participants joined the ZOOM online conference and had the opportunity to ask the regional jury questions regarding the problem statements. The exchange of tasks and their solutions took place in a virtual Google Classroom. The tasks were completed using office application tools (MS Office 365).
The competition tasks of the III stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Information Technologies were oriented toward the information competence of students, their intellectual potential, as well as originality and creativity of thinking.
