February 26 is the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol

On February 26, Ukraine marks the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol. This day has become an important milestone in our country's history, as it recalls the heroic efforts of Ukrainians who refused to submit to aggression and occupation. As part of this commemoration, ERI MIT joined in marking this date by organizing an educational event dedicated to remembrance and resistance.

The main purpose of the event was to raise awareness about the events that took place in Crimea and their consequences for Ukraine and the international community. It is crucial for young people to understand the significance of these events, be able to analyze the situation, and shape their civic position. After all, fostering patriotism in the younger generation is the foundation for a dignified future for our state.

During the event, a selection of video materials and documentaries highlighting the events of 2014 and their impact on the present was demonstrated.

The Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol at ERI MIT became a true example of unity among students, lecturers, and everyone caring about the painful topic of Crimea. The event showed that the memory of this tragedy is an essential part of our national consciousness and that it must remain a hallmark of our civic duty.

The educational event left a lasting mark on the hearts of the youth, because in addition to knowledge, it instilled a sense of patriotism, national unity, and readiness to act in defense of their country. The memory of Crimea must remain alive, and our desire to fight for the truth must be inexhaustible.
