This week, the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies hosted a meeting dedicated to organizing project and team work for third-year students of IT majors. As part of studying the ASP.NET course, in addition to professional knowledge, skills in teamwork, effective time management, communication, and the ability to solve real-world tasks set by the modern IT industry are particularly important.

With the aim of developing these competencies, the Institute was visited by a leading IT specialist and expert in .NET technologies, Serhii Olehovych Parshin, who has many years of practical experience. The event was organized by Mykola Anatoliiovych Semenov, an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Technologies.
During the meeting, current issues regarding the application of .NET technologies in real-world projects, the specifics of their study and practical use, as well as an engineering approach to software product development, were discussed. Serhii Olehovych actively interacted with the students, answering all their questions, and took on the role of a mentor who will continue to support the teams during project implementation.

Following the results of the meeting, the students together with the mentor agreed on the launch of a joint IT project. In just a month, a pitching event is planned where teams will present their own developments and demonstrate their business attractiveness. The best projects will be chosen during the defense, and the winners will receive the opportunity for further support and consultations from Serhii Olehovych.
Such events allow students to gain not only theoretical knowledge but also real practical experience, which is a key factor in shaping the professional competencies of modern IT specialists.
