Student self-government has always played an important role in academic life, serving as the voice of the student body and the organizer of vital initiatives. However, the effective work of any organization, especially one like student self-government, is impossible without proper team management skills. With this in mind, representatives of the ERI MIT student self-government joined a workshop on the topic: "Effective Team Management: Role Distribution, Talent Attraction."

The workshop was aimed at addressing current challenges frequently faced by leaders of student organizations. In particular, strategies for transitioning from the "I do everything myself" model to effective task delegation were discussed. The issue of distributing tasks and responsibilities is critical to preventing activist burnout and ensuring team sustainability.
Special attention was paid to finding and attracting motivated team members who are capable of not only taking on responsibility but also seeing things through to completion. Participants examined methods for assessing the potential of new members, as well as strategies for their motivation and support. It is essential that the team does not just grow with new faces, but is formed as a well-coordinated and efficient mechanism.

A separate block of the workshop was dedicated to the development of leadership qualities. Participants learned about different leadership styles and their application in the context of student self-government. Methods of effective communication, motivation, and inspiring the team were discussed. It is crucial to understand that a formal position, such as "head of the student council," does not always automatically translate into real influence. Leadership requires the ability to listen, hear, and motivate others to achieve common goals.

The acquired knowledge and skills will undoubtedly become a valuable tool for improving the performance of student self-government. The successful application of these strategies will allow not only for a more effective implementation of planned projects but also for creating a more favorable and productive environment for developing the leadership qualities of each team member. Participation in such workshops is an important step toward forming a new generation of leaders capable of effectively managing, motivating, and leading others. We hope that the knowledge gained will be successfully put into practice and contribute to the further development of student self-government.
