A meeting of the students of NN IMIT with the head of the Taras Shevchenko LNU - Moroz Volodymyr Petrovych.

On November 03, 2025, a meeting was held between the students of the ERI MIT and the Head of the PTUO of Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko – Volodymyr Petrovych Moroz.

Volodymyr MOROZ told the students about the trade union, its functions, and its structure. He spoke in detail about the university's history and student self-government, allowing students to learn more about their rights and duties.

The Primary Trade Union Organization of Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko is a public organization of the university, whose purpose is the representation, implementation, and protection of the educational and socio-economic rights and interests of its members. Joining the trade union is done on a voluntary basis, without any restriction based on nationality, race, gender, political affiliation, or religious beliefs.

Every person, starting their independent life path, needs support and advice, as surely all of us are familiar with the feeling of facing a complex problem one-on-one, when it seems that no one and nothing can help you anymore. This is especially true for students who find themselves far from family and friends in a city that will not become home anytime soon. Quite often, it is precisely the advice of others and support that becomes the final lifebuoy in the whirlpool of a turbulent life. The Primary Trade Union Organization of Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko is exactly the organization created to provide multi-faceted support to trade union members.

"Great attention is paid to promoting educational, scientific, and creative activities, because if you have good abilities in something, they need to be developed," Volodymyr Petrovych noted.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions, receive useful advice, and get inspired for further studies and participation in student life.

The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere, leaving behind positive emotions and motivation for new achievements.
