On November 21, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom.
In order to honor the patriotism and courage of citizens who stood up for the defense of democratic values, human and civil rights and freedoms, the national interests of Ukraine, and its European choice; to instill a love for the Motherland in students and develop their desire to become worthy citizens of the Ukrainian state, and to convey objective information to youth about the fateful events in Ukraine at the beginning of the 21st century, an educational hour dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom was held today at the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.
At the beginning of the event, those present honored the memory of the people who were killed in peaceful times in the 21st century for defending the Ukrainian idea.
The host of the event, Tetiana KUTS, a 1st-year student majoring in Software Engineering, gave the audience an opportunity to remember the main events of the Revolution of Dignity and the subsequent heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against Russian military aggression. A large number of thematic photographs and video materials were used.
November 21 has forever become undeniable proof of the rebirth of our nation. The events of the Maidan changed the people, their views, dreams, and faith in their European future. The Revolution of Dignity united us in a single, undivided, and independent Ukraine.
