The Myrhorod location of the State Institution "Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko" continues to actively integrate into the educational and social life of the community.
On April 2, 2026, in the city of Myrhorod, students from the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, the Faculty of Technologies and Information Systems, and the Educational and Research Institute of Business, Management, and Public Administration joined an event held at the Myrhorod Lyceum named after T. H. Shevchenko.
The interactive quest game "In Search of the Longwing" is designed for IDP and local children aged 10-13. It is conducted by the public organization "PRO OSVIT" within the "Unity for Action" program, implemented by IREX with the support of the US Department of State.
Organizational support for the event was carried out under the leadership of PhD Olha KORINSKA – a university graduate of the educational program "Social Work. Social Pedagogy. Practical Psychology". The higher education students acted as moderators and gained valuable experience in direct professional communication with a children's audience.
For the students, participation in such an event was a great opportunity to test their skills in managing children's groups and informal pedagogy. The future specialists helped participants solve complex riddles, coordinated the completion of the quest stages, and created an atmosphere of mystery and drive in the style of the popular TV series "Wednesday".
All students involved in the event received Certificates of Appreciation from the NGO "PRO OSVIT" for their significant personal contribution to the organization and conduct of the interactive quest game "In Search of the Longwing".
Through joint efforts, we help young people feel supported, develop leadership skills, and find new friends!
