Days of science at the department of professional education, restaurant and tourist business

On April 06-08, 2026, within the framework of Science Days, the Department of VE-RTB hosted

three round tables:

- Modern Problems of Vocational and Technological Education (moderator:

Viktor Burdun);

- Innovations in Science, Production, and the Service Sector (moderator:

Nataliia Hirenko);

- Transformation of the Hospitality and Tourism Sector: European Integration,

Innovation, Sustainability (moderator: Olena Karolop).

During the round tables, teachers and higher education students had

the opportunity to share their scientific achievements. In total, presentations

were delivered by 15 teachers and 31 higher education students of the Department of Vocational

Education, Restaurant and Tourism Business.

On April 8, 2026, a final conference was held where the best 9

students had the opportunity to present the results of their own research.

Before the event, opening remarks were delivered by the Dean of the Faculty

of Technologies and Information Systems, PhD in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Hennadii

Anatoliiovych Mohylnyi.

Scientific Supervisor – V.V. Burdun, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.

The Head of the Department, Viktor Vasyliovych Burdun, expressed words

of gratitude to the students for their active participation in scientific work,

interesting and comprehensive presentations, and thanked the supervisors for guiding the scientific

work of the higher education students. V.V. Burdun also expressed a wish to

prepare scientific articles based on each research work.
