On September 20, 2025, the Kyokushin Karate Championship of Poltava Oblast took place in Poltava. The competition gathered the best athletes of the region, who demonstrated a high level of skill and a strong will to win.

We are pleased to highlight the success of Yaroslav Nazarenko, a 1st-year student of the first (bachelor's) level of education at the Educational and Research Institute of Information Technologies, majoring in "Computer Science". Yaroslav won an honorable 3rd place, proving his athletic talent and perseverance.

At ERI MIT, PhD, Assistant at the Department of Information Technologies and Systems Vladyslav Yuriiovych Kozub conducted an open lecture on the topic: "MPI Parallel Programming Environment". The lecture took place within the framework of the educational component "Parallel and Distributed Computing" for 3rd-year bachelor's students studying under the educational programs "Software Engineering", "Computer Science and Information Technologies", and "Computer Engineering".

On September 25, a guest lecture on the topic "Countering and Preventing Gender-Based Violence" took place at the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies. 

The online lecture was conducted by Valeriia Mykhailenko, a Protection Program Specialist of the International Humanitarian Organization FHI 360. 

  On October 1, 2025, an online meeting with students of the second (master's) level of higher education took place at the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies.

    During the conversation, the institute's directorate and heads of departments congratulated those present on the start of the new academic year, wished them inspiration in their studies, advised them to maintain discipline, and urged them to make every effort to obtain a high-quality education. 

ERI MIT Celebrated the Day of Defenders of Ukraine

October 1 is the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. This is an important state holiday designed to honor all the heroes and heroines who courageously defend our Motherland from the enemy.

The staff and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management, together with the Educational and Research Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, congratulated the servicemen on the holiday and paid tribute to the memory of the fallen Heroes of Ukraine.

All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity in Myrhorod 

On October 27, the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, students and lecturers of the university's structural subdivisions — ERI MIT, ERI BM, and ERI NAS — traditionally joined the writing of the All-Ukrainian Radio Dictation of National Unity.

"Marketing Battle of Ideas" — Teamwork and New Talents at Luhansk National University Named After Taras Shevchenko

Recently, the Marketing Department organized and held a competition called "Marketing Battle of Ideas" for students of LNU structural subdivisions at the Myrhorod location — the Educational and Research Institutes of: Mathematics and Information Technologies; Natural and Agricultural Sciences; Business and Management.

On October 28, 2025, regular online trainings on conscious stress resilience were held for students of the Myrhorod location — structural subdivisions of the Educational and Research Institute of Natural and Agricultural Sciences and the Educational and Research Institute of Business and Management.

On November 03, 2025, a meeting was held between the students of the ERI MIT and the Head of the PTUO of Luhansk National University named after Taras Shevchenko – Volodymyr Petrovych Moroz.

Volodymyr MOROZ told the students about the trade union, its functions, and its structure. He spoke in detail about the university's history and student self-government, allowing students to learn more about their rights and duties.
