Modeling of the technology of automated creation of products from KM

A short list of the developments of the project participants

Project participants developed and implemented:

  • several solid-propellant rocket motor case designs made of organic-matrix and carbon-fiber composites;
  • a specialized carbon-fiber composite molding tool;
  • a fiberglass forward horizontal stabilizer for a commercial aircraft;
  • a fiberglass fire-extinguishing bottle for a local fire suppression system;
  • carbon-fiber composite elements for an open-type spacecraft truss.

There is minimal technical equipment, highly qualified technical staff - at this time - OCCUPIED.

The main idea

Project participants are specialists in the field of computer modeling and the technology of creating products from CM for various purposes.

On the basis of accumulated experience and a structural-technological approach using modern methods and principles of modeling, the features of the manufacture and process of creating complex-profile elements of special-purpose machines from CM, manufactured by the automated winding method, were found.

The developed approach allows modeling and development of CM products of any complexity using modern computer modeling tools and, as a result, using the most reliable and automated method of manufacturing CM products - the method of automated winding on specialized winding machines.
